A charming village house, set in the small village of Laprade in the Charente region. As the village is so small it only has a phone box and mail box, however there is a bread van that visits daily (a beep of a horn at approx 10am tells you that it is here). Aubeterre is only 15 minutes walk away, said to be one of the prettiest villages in France. Aubeterre Sur Dronne has a butchers, bakers, various restaurants and bars, banks, museums, underground church and lots of interesting small shops.
